CORNING — The Paskenta Nomlaki Foundation is set to give away Thanksgiving dinners to 1,500 families at its fourth annual community distribution event, starting at 5 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Rolling Hills Casino until supplies last, according to a press release.
The event is free to the community with no identification required, and will be a drive-thru distribution with traffic control and no walk ups, the release said.
Items to be given include mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, canned corn, stuffing, bread rolls, cranberry sauce and the choice of a turkey or a chicken.
The foundation asks participating families to make room in their cars for items beforehand. The Paskenta Nomlaki Foundation office may be reached at 530-670-1750 for more information.
